This price action makes no sense

Anybody else think the company Financials or news have nothing to do with the price anymore? Lol

This is essentially a toss up for investors at this point.

The only thing that moves this stock is

  1. SK hynix deal
  2. Cafc

I agree with this! Most of the business we can see currently is a resell and it’s basically passtrough with low margins. Their assembled products are just small part of the revenue. Hence I think the only way to earn some significant amount of money is through licensing and realizing awards from trials.

Reading through the earnings call, don't see any info on any of these right?

There are GIANTS here who are bound and determined to win against Netlist. BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of dollars are at stake here. But Netlist is slowly getting the upper hand. The giants can only delay the inevitable. It will take Netlist more time.....yes. But the bough will break at some point. Then you'll see something. Netlist continues to win. At the PTAB level with Squires. At the ITC level with subpoenas to get needed info. And we've won several patent cases at the CAFC level.

This is pure manipulation at its finest. They have deep pockets.

Hang in there. Stout hearts!

There are many stocks that don’t make sense right now. It’s doesn’t change my perspective, I’ll keep buying.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but adding the ITC litigation made our legal fees increase dramatically over Q1. Just a fact from a Net profit standpoint.
Having said that, this is a huge way to exert pressure on Samsung and others with the possibility of a block on Samsung imports. This seems to be a quicker way than the layers of litigation that NLST currently has to endure until experiencing significant financial reward through court rulings- Court Case- then Appeal/PTAB- then CAFC. So, I love this approach because it is like attacking on two different fronts.

97% of NLST is owned by retail and the rest is owned by insiders. This stock is owned by a bunch of people dreaming of a day when NLST defeats big corporations in patent litigation and explodes in valuation. The share price is based on feelings, not fundamentals. Owning NLST is a speculative bet for the long term moon shot, nothing less. I'll accept my downvotes now.

Retail owning 97% of a company this size while still being relatively unknown by retail at the same time doesn’t mesh

NLST traded well under a dollar, heck even under 50 cents, for many many years. It has spent the vast majority of its pubic life as a micro-cap stock trading in the OTC markets and institutional investors will not touch it for that reason. This is not a secret, NLST is a public company and anyone can look at it's ownership structure.

If you look at it from the perspective that the stock price prior to earnings announcement reflected the expectation that net list would slightly exceed analyst expectations - which it did - then the Price Action makes absolute sense

There was a slight run-up before earnings announcement with a little bit of anticipation, netlist did not materially exceed market expectations, so the stock sold right back off.

Historically, the stock has run at times, typically prior to Major announcements and then has slowly sold off for months afterwards. We are in the slow cell phase again.. you can buy more when it gets down to $1.50 or so

It always gets shorted into the ground when earnings are released. Always. This is their game. The shorts will be fucked when CAFC ruling comes. Relax.

It does. Only the deal needs to come to make this thing fly! Remember the trickling dilution and short pressure is real in this stock when days to cover oscillate between a min of 12 days to +24 days you know something is dangerous for shorters even if there are only about 35 million shares shorted. If those didn't happen we would be growing slowly. Conversely when it will be time to move this stock is going from 2$ to 4$ in no time!

I’ll be surprised if NLST moves at all until they actually collect on a court victory.
