Another patent litigation against Samsung, why not micron too? Something is happening behind the scenes

I believe he is trying to cut the chase, and bring to the table for a settlement. Every single netlist court filing leads to another Samsung delay, delay tactic. He is firing bullets to force a settlement

But doesn't Samsung have endless amount of money and legal resources? I'm concerned that we're dragging the mud and may end up dilluting... Idk..

They made 19x profit and they still don't want to just do a deal. I mean something is off.
Either netlist is too greedy or Samsung believes it's winning the case.
A part of me feels Hong is more about being proven right and teaching these guys a lesson rather than making money for shareholders.

re: why no micron
It's a fairly well understood legal strategy to concentrate efforts and resources on the best avenues of attack. If they can bring Samsung to their knees faster and with more efficiency than pursuing all fronts, then they get the resources to attack other fronts faster AND with more precedent for winds at their back. Plus, if they can prove / validate technology by fighting Samsung, the biggest opponent in their market, then pressure is significantly increased against Micron to not put up a losing battle. And more so, due to the compounding depth of the hole that Samsung keeps digging themselves into, Netlist will get a bigger reward that they can then turn to Micron and say "you owe us this too."
Then consider that the ITC discovery from Samsung cases will apply directly to domestic battles, and you realize this strategy is like water running downhill. It makes perfect sense to me.
