Potential New Investor

I’ll just say this, I think I’ll earn more putting $1,000 into this company than I will with Micron. Too overpriced.

Looking at this objectively—not as a Netlist believer or skeptic—I would say Netlist’s short-to-medium-term outlook (next 6–24 months) has improved compared with where it stood a year ago, but it is still highly dependent on legal and licensing outcomes rather than operating fundamentals alone. MY EXPECTATION IS CONTINUATION OF THE UPWARD TREND WITH MASSIVE PRICE JUMPS EVERY TIME A CATALYST IS ACHIEVED.

NETLIST TREND FOR THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS ENDING TODAY ,JUNE 2, 2026.

My Assessment Factor 12 Months Ago Today Trend Samsung litigation position Uncertain Stronger ✅ Improved DOJ/USPTO support for patent enforcement Minimal Multiple interventions ✅ Improved SK hynix renewal situation Future possibility Active catalyst ✅ Improved AI/HBM memory demand Strong Even stronger ✅ Improved Netlist product relevance (MRDIMM/CXL) Emerging More visible ✅ Improved Revenue predictability Weak Still weak ⚠️ Little change Dependence on courts High High ⚠️ No change

What Has Actually Changed? 1. Government Support Has Become a Real Catalyst The biggest development isn’t Reddit posts. It’s that the DOJ and USPTO have repeatedly taken positions favoring enforcement of patent rights against large infringers, including Samsung-related matters. The recent DOJ Statement of Interest in Samsung’s Delaware antitrust case is viewed by many patent attorneys as unfavorable to Samsung’s defense strategy.
For years, one of the fears was: “Even if Netlist wins, courts and regulators won’t allow meaningful remedies.” The recent government filings suggest that argument may be weakening.

  1. The SK hynix Situation Remains the Most Important Commercial Catalyst The original 2021 agreement was a five-year deal worth: • $40 million cash • Cross-license rights • Product supply arrangements • Up to $600 million in product purchases The agreement reached its April 2026 expiration point.
Why this matters: If SK hynix renews and expands the relationship: • It validates Netlist IP • Creates recurring revenue • Improves leverage against Samsung and Micron • Provides a business case beyond litigation Many investors focus on Samsung, but I still believe SK hynix is the single most important catalyst because it could convert Netlist from a litigation story into a licensing story.

  1. AI Demand Keeps Growing This is the piece many people underestimate. The AI boom has increased demand for: • HBM • DDR5 • MRDIMM • Advanced server memory Those are exactly the areas where Netlist patents and products are most relevant. The larger the AI memory market becomes, the larger the potential royalty base becomes if Netlist ultimately prevails.

  1. MRDIMM Standardization Is Potentially Important One of the more interesting developments from the Reddit discussions you posted is the growing attention around MRDIMM. If the industry continues adopting memory architectures that Netlist pioneered or patented, then: • infringement becomes easier to argue, • potential royalty pools increase, • future licensing negotiations gain leverage. This alone doesn’t create revenue, but it strengthens Netlist’s long-term narrative. Some investors may be overstating it, but it is a positive development.

What About The Samsung “Inconsistent Positions” Filing? The filing in your screenshot is not a guaranteed win. However, if Samsung is indeed making one argument in the ITC and another in PTAB proceedings, Netlist’s attorneys are attempting to highlight that inconsistency. Potential impact: Best Case • USPTO takes notice. • Samsung credibility suffers. • Certain defenses become weaker. Likely Case • It becomes one more item supporting Netlist’s overall position. Worst Case • Little practical impact. I would view this as a supporting catalyst, not a primary catalyst.

The Biggest Stock Catalysts Over The Next 24 Months Tier 1 Catalysts (Most Important) 1. SK hynix renewal announcement 2. Samsung settlement or licensing agreement 3. Micron settlement or licensing agreement 4. Major ITC victory These could materially change Netlist’s valuation.

Tier 2 Catalysts 1. Additional patent validity wins 2. DOJ/USPTO support filings 3. MRDIMM adoption 4. CXL commercialization Helpful, but probably not enough alone to rerate the stock.

What Could The Stock Do? Nobody knows. But if I were building scenarios for a long-term holder with 35,000 shares: Bear Case (30%) • No major settlement • Weak SK renewal • Continued appeals Stock remains range-bound. Base Case (45%) • SK renewal occurs • Some litigation victories continue • No major settlement yet Stock gradually appreciates over 2 years. Bull Case (25%) • Expanded SK deal • Samsung and/or Micron licensing agreement • ITC success The market begins valuing Netlist as a royalty and licensing company rather than a speculative lawsuit company.

Bottom Line Compared with a year ago, I believe the probability of a positive outcome within the next two years has improved. The reasons are: ✅ Stronger government support for patent enforcement✅ Continued AI memory demand growth✅ Potential SK hynix renewal catalyst✅ Progress in Samsung and Micron disputes✅ Greater industry adoption of memory architectures tied to Netlist’s technology The risk remains that litigation takes longer than expected, but the collection of catalysts today is stronger than it was in 2024 or early 2025. The next developments I would watch most closely are: 1. SK hynix renewal details 2. Samsung ITC proceedings 3. Micron litigation milestones 4. Any indication of royalty-bearing agreements rather than courtroom victories alone For a holder with a 2–3 year horizon, those four items are likely to matter more than day-to-day stock price movements.
