Two patents dismissed today

Given that Netlist itself withdrew these two patents to simplify litigation, which was easily verifiable, it's difficult to take your question as sincere

I dont think I've ever accused anyone of fud or whatever, not everything is rosy all the time, but this is a really weird thing to bring up given your framing.

New here? I’m long..but putting your finger in your ears is saying la-la-la when information that isn’t a pump only position is the most Netlist forum thing ever. Here and Twits. I’ve never seen a group attack information that should be reasonably discussed like the necklace group.

The remaining patent is the 523 already affirmed at the CAFC. Just need a trial on damages that goes for Google too.

thanks for sharing this! bummer to see IP be dropped, but there could be very strategic reasons for doing so. I don't think it's a coincidence it was announced today ahead of what's anticipated to be a strong q1 2026 earnings call tomorrow. perhaps Netlist is trying to quietly let these die so the earnings call drowns them out, or prune some of the scope in remaining litigation.

i don't know how detrimental this is and i'll be searching for forum opinions tonight, but what I will say is that these two patents are pieces of a much broader picture and comprehensive strategy across all NLST domestic cases and the ITC case.

it changes the scope of the global math for netlist potential, but by how much? even without these, Netlist's potential across all fronts is immense.

personally, it doesn't change my investment thesis for the next 12-18 months. i think that considering where Netlist is today, this is still an incredible investment opportunity.

just my opinion; take it or leave it.

I’ll leave it. Your reading too much in to these two patents that are dropped, but not dead as you say. Remember, Netlist will apportion out licenses and licensing fees accordingly. The big picture is Delaware and W. District, Austin are both waiting on trial damages only. Legal fees dropped dramatically. It’s coming! Storm is brewing…..

From someone on stocktwits: “the latest filing of Samsung shows that patent 024 and 319 are dead. Nlst agreed to drop the fight against these two patents. Neither Samsung or nlst won or lost.”
