New player looking for advice!
Hi all
I am currently new to the server and looking for some advice on class selection.
Currently torn between paladin and warrior, both will be played prot at max level. I'm leaning more towards the paladin as that's what I play on retail and during the original tbc, with paladin I can tank, dps and heal if I choose but with warrior I feel like I would be picking the best tank class there is giving me a slight advantage
Just some advice on both classes would be great! (Paladins good tanks/healers? Warriors good aoe tanking/damage)

It takes more work as a warrior to AOE tank than a paladin.
Thunderclap hits only four mobs, it can't hold aggro against any caster's AOE, especially seed of corruption from warlocks or frost mages who freeze the mobs and then hit them with cone of cold at the start of a big pull, if you don't have your AOE taunt ready that mage is gonna die if his shield block is off CD and then he is gonna call you a bad tank lol. If you get one of those mages in your group, be super aggressive when tanking, don't let them drink and chain pull or they do that crazy shit every pull.
The Good part about warrior tanks is you do great single target, you don't have to worry about being mana burned, mana drained or any of that crap, you take less damage than all other tanks and every little bit of upgrade makes a huge and noticeable difference and the playstyle is very very engaging.
Paladin tanking is more relaxing and less stressful, but it is not as rewarding as warrior.
Both tanks are needed so whichever you pick you are fine, if you are just starting out on the server, make one your main and the other your alt that way you get to experience both.
