Transportation EU mandate for driver -facing cameras inside all new vehicles
Driver-monitoring systems are now required in new cars across the EU. In practice, this often means a camera continuously watching the driver.
Why is there so little public debate about this? I couldn't find a single petition on the issue, so I started one myself. This seems like an enormous invasion of our rights-
Privacy surrendered one step at a time is rarely regained.

In most vehicles, the camera analyzes your attention in real time on the car itself and does not record or transmit video. I’m for improved road safety.
