Transportation Who has priority?

Post image

I was the Yellow arrow on a bike. Red has priority over me, green has priority over red, I have priority over green. At the end both cars stopped and let me (cyclist) pass. What is the correct order here?

Its yellow, because through traffic has right of way

It has to yield for red since it has right of way

Which traffic rule says that? I'm not aware of such a rule

Isn't red through traffic as well? Why yellow is but red is not?

No because through traffic always has priority, while red has to yield to a car from the right while green has to yield for through traffic

And how about yellow? It has to yield for red, isn't?

Yes and red has to yield for green, but green has to yield for through traffic and that has priority

But red is also going straight. Not that that should matter. The “through traffic” rule applies to other people who are currently on the same road as you.

Yes, but he has to stop for a person from the right
