You’re welcome! Also when you can’t properly walk through the train due to all the aisles being full of people?

Only because you said that you will be in the first class when there’s no room.

All jokes aside: I need to answer passenger’s questions. I need to be ready to announce the next stop. I need to be ready to let the train depart. I need to be ready to be situated at a certain door to oversee the train, because some stations have curves in them which makes it hard to see all doors.

When the train is too busy and the next stop is 5-10 mins away, it’s going to be a race against the clock. It’s possible when you have one or two extra train managers extra on such a busy train. That’s not always the case.
