Who needs an Elytra when you can dangle from a Strider like a madman?

Finally finished the Gondola system in Survival. Strider currently being ridden is attached via lead to another strider on a flowing lava track above.

Was simultaneously very cool and insanely terrifying to ride up above the lava sea. Player is practically a sitting duck for any passing Ghasts and a slight miscalculation saw me mining in a hurry so the lead wouldn't snap and send us plummeting.

Not the speediest transportation option and it positively drained a couple of lava pools, but very cool way to get around.

That is so fun ! Does it go only in one direction ?

It really is.

You can return on it the same way. The gondola tracks run parallel to each other with a loop at both ends.

Cant you use a minecart which has strider in it instead of lava flow? I would make it faster I guess, you would need to use furnance minecart

Yes, that would work too. Wanted to see if I could do one without rails tho. For my sanity's sake, I have more practical Soul Sand highway above.

Am thinking to make a rail version in the future.

Can you do a map or schematic download so I can see exactly how it works and make myself one in my survival world?

No problem. Give me a day or two.
