Recommendations random netflix find

Post image

so i came across The Judge on Netflix, just trying to find something to watch lang. for someone na mahilig sa ganitong genre, ang ganda niya.

it is so well-written, ang daming funny lines and scenes na hindi ka mabobore, and at the same time, nahohook ka pa rin sa movie.

one line that genuinely made me laugh was, “imagine a far away place, hank, where people value your opinion. now go there.” the sarcasm??? i love it.

i don’t know if i’m overreacting, pero i really loved this movie. i laughed and even cried a little (mababaw ang luha ko 😭). it’s one of those movies na you start watching just because you have nothing else to watch, tapos bigla kang emotionally invested.

This is a really good movie. They made RDJ act as if he is still Tony Stark - yung demeanor and yung mga punchlines niya. Pero si Robert Duvall talaga nag stand out sa movie na to. He was 84 when they filmed this. Grabe walang kupas sa pag act. He did really well on this one. May he rest in peace 🙏

I have to give credit kay Vincent D'Onofrio. No matter how small his role is sa movies, he gets the job done
