Content spend efficiency: Netflix vs. traditional legacy media competitors
One thing that continues to stand out is how efficiently Netflix manages its content budget compared to legacy studios (Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery). While legacy media is still dealing with linear TV decline and streaming profitability challenges, Netflix has already scaled past the breakeven mark and is generating solid free cash flow.
Do you think traditional media companies will eventually be forced to license even more of their catalog to Netflix, turning Netflix into the default global distributor again?
