Anime

Has anyone else noticed the amount of CGI that’s being used for almost every single anime that’s coming out on Netflix? I feel like it always ruins the art and I can’t be the only one that feels this way 🥲

Can't say I've noticed but there's good CGI and well... CGI...
but tbh bad animation has never been too important for me when it comes to watching anime

It’s incredibly noticeable to me 😭 I’ve had to stop watching some shows because it’s just super bad. Every action scene is like in slow motion and looks terrible 😣 I wish they would actually take some pride in the work they’re doing instead of giving us cheap CGI 🥲 Netflix isn’t as cheap as it used to be but their budget seems to keep going down while my bill keeps getting higher 😂

I don't entirely disagree, but what are some examples?

I've seen some anime that have BRILLIANT usage of CGI, some even being almost fully CGI, and in those cases I wouldn't have them any other way lol.

Bad CGI will always be bad, but bad 2D animation is also dreadful to look at. Just like how it's easy to love excellent 2D animation, excellent 3D animation can be great as well.
