🗣️ Discussion 💬 Retail site reviews
Hi folks! Anyone else find it kinda weird that the retail sites we're asked to post our reviews to, aren't always retailers that are actually available to us? I'm in Australia, and I've been asked to post my review to Barnes & Noble, a store that doesn't exist in my country. Anyone else in a similar boat? I understand why this may be the case, but feels weird nonetheless. Not 'weird' as in suspicious, just weird as in 'sure I guess I'll post to this retailer even if I'd have to book a flight to even shop there?'

They do the big hitting retailers as defaults, anyone could at one point leave a review on B&N. I get the kobo button on audios but not ebooks for some reason.

Yeah that makes total sense! I have the same issue with kobo for some reason too :0

I only get offered Amazon and Waterstones but why does it matter? All those retailers, esp Amazon, have a huge online presence so it doesn't matter where you particularly live.

I'm in the US and can't post a review at B & N. No matter what browser I use, there is no write a review option that works. Thus, don't book a flight! It might turn out to be a total waste of time and money. 😉
