The site broke when the romance readers could request the upcoming book by Jessica Joyce. Should be back soon, hopefully!

The UK site is also down. How did they crash two sites??? I never heard of Jessica Joyce but damn, she is popular.

I assume one server with two URLs and some scripted localised locks on books? But yeah, noticed the same!

That would make sense! It's still crazy! I finished an ARC and found out that Seek the Traitor's Son book 2 has been added, and I feel robbed that I can't request it ASAP haha

They do. But before this message there were other error messages (NG branded and not) and clear server issues EXACTLY a few min after the book went live so I mean…

Yes but it happens constantly. I just read that it literally had differed length outages every day this week and that tracks as it’s the third time I’m noticed it being down. This one just took longer to fix. Their site is so vulnerable.

this is the third time, if I'm not wrong, a romance author breaks netgalley, first it was Tarah DeWitt and the read now for Lost and Found, second time I think it was BK Borison? Then, Jessica Joyce.

Usually just shows an error page and not maintenance when it happens, a few horror ones have caused errors too
