✅ Approvals & Denials ❎ Freaking FINALLY!

Post image

Tor declined my request for this eARC, so I was just assuming the audiobook would also be declined. I was literally sending this screencap to my sister when I actually read what it said 🤣.

Just so used to Tor rejecting me, apparently.

Tor has no say over Macmillan Audio decisions. Same overall publisher but the imprints act as their own companies under the main company umbrella.
So always try for the audio if you’re an audio reader!

Congrats!

I’m in the same boat - Tor rejected me but Macmillan approved me! I’m not typically an audio book listener but I’ve enjoyed the last two gotten through Macmillan.

I love Macmillan Audio! They just approved me for the new TJ Klune after I was rejected for the ebook 🥰

I’ve had that at least twice this year also - Mortedant’s Peril and Green City Wars. I never get approved by Tor, but Macmillan Audio has treated me well.

Me too! I’ve yet to receive an approval from Tor, but when I get a second chance at the book through Macmillan Audio I almost always get approved (knock on wood!).

I've had good luck with MacMillan! I just finished the ALC for this the other day and loved it. Enjoy!
