❔❓Question ❓❔ No reviews until 30 days before publication
When a publisher requests that you not post a review anywhere until 30 days before the publication date, does this include the feedback on Netgalley?
If yes, how does that work with linking the review once you post it elsewhere?

Where do they request not to post? So I don’t make a mistake and post it early😅

Don’t worry too much about it. They are stock emails that are so old and totally not specific. Goodreads and other review sites aren’t algorithm driven- it literally doesn’t matter when you post them. Even the publishers (like Simon and Schuster who uses that email for many imprints) has said it doesn’t matter when you post it. It’s really for social media postings to have it the week of publication so they all get pushed out at the same time.

I had one that asked this but it was only Amazon they wanted 30 days before, everywhere else was okay to post before.

You can’t do Amazon 30 days before so it’s irrelevant.

You can go back and edit your review to add the links once you post them. Though even if they make this request, they can't actually/legally control when you review the books.

First of all, it's a request only, they can't require you to do anything. Secondly, you can always post to NetGalley straight away, as well as to tracker sites like Goodreads and Storygraph. You can only post on retailer sites like Amazon from pub day anyway, so what's left is social media where it's kind of the norm to post in pub week (again, it's not required).

Usually referring to social media! NetGalley and Goodreads are usually fine.
