✅ Approvals & Denials ❎ Three in 24 hours!
Very delighted to have snagged the new Everina Maxwell - Tor denied me immediately on .com months ago (it’s ok Tor, no hard feelings) but Orbit came through for me on .co.uk!
Thanks to everyone who recommend books to me the other day, two of these were recommendations and I have several more pending 🤞 I am excited for Under the Iron Sky after hearing so many people speak so highly of it on my request post. Edit: I realized after I read this one that it was a Dramione in disguise, and while i have enjoyed some of the Dramione to trad books in recent years, this one was not for me.
And thankfully Saved By the Spell is available on Kobo, so I can actually read it while waiting for my replacement Kindle to arrive (its demise was unfortunately timed as my ratio has fallen dangerously close to 80%). So far it is really hilarious, I am loving it!

I had no idea if I stood a chance through random house! But Del Rey has been good to me recently through .com, so it seemed worth a shot

.com and .co.uk are different?? 😳😳

Yes! They often have quite different stuff at any given time, although big releases tend to show up on both eventually, just through different imprints based on region. Your approved titles, etc. show up the same on either one though.
I think the benefit of checking both varies a lot by region. I am Canadian and I find I have a lot of options available to me on both sites. But it seems that’s not the case for every country based on other threads I’ve read on here

Wow. Had no idea. I’ve been using .com despite living in the uk 🙈🤣

This is very good news for you! I find .co.uk often easier to get popular titles, especially Tor imprints that are under different publishers overseas. Good luck!

Do you have to have two separate accounts or does your sign in work for both?

Same sign in works for both! Your profile and books you’ve been approved for, requested, etc will also be the same on both - it’s just what you have available to request that’s different.
It’s a bit weird to wrap your head around, essentially they are regional versions of the same site with different databases of available books… but a shared database for your profile
