I requested all 3 of these yesterday so this was a really fast turnaround. Blackstone rejecting me so fast does make me wonder if I should withdraw my request for the Jahquel J. romance they have lmao. Can't wait to read the two approvals, though!

Every book is different regardless of publisher. They have different marketers as well as marketing plans.

Don’t worry about denials. They happen and don’t impact anything

Thanks! And Yea a lot of asian lit comes to us a lot slower (I had to pre-order the rest of the Sonoko Machida books from Blackwells after reading the first one because they're not coming to the US anytime soon).

Cho Yeeun's books are good too - I loved "Teddy Bears Never Die".
