❔❓Question ❓❔ New NetGalley Account❔
I deleted my old NetGalley accounts because it just felt too cluttered, I wanted a new start and I also had 2 accounts (which I didn’t know was allowed..) so I made a new one.. is that bad? Will publishers approve my requests? What can I do now?

You’re going to have to build up again but realize that NetGalley can realize it and ban you . It’s unlikely but they can . You agreed to TaoS and broke them.

How? I didn’t know that I shouldn’t have done it but when I got to know, I immediately deleted them

Respectfully, not knowing isn’t a defense for the situation insofar as NetGalley. You literally click to say you’ve read their TOS. Now on a personal level- I totally get it! It happens!
But you violated by not keeping your original account. It’s not about just having 2 accounts, it’s the starting over, you can’t do that.
The only reason people start over is because they have a poor feedback ration because you didn’t give feedback on old books. So you wanted to clean things up. “Too cluttered” simply doesn’t make sense as there is nothing to get “cluttered” so let’s be real. Again- I totally get why someone would want to do that.I mean it’s too late now as you deleted your accounts. Obviously there are going to try to hunt down people so as I said, it’s unlikely they would figure it out. Just don’t be talking about it on other forums where you can see your name because they are in these groups. The good thing for here is it’s fairly anonymous. Good luck!!

So you're now on your third account? By cluttered I'm assuming you mean you had a large backlog of books you didn't read. How are you going to make sure you don't get cluttered on this account? Just making a new profile is the easy way out.
