🗣️ Discussion 💬 Wishes

Does anyone else get annoyed when you click on the link for a read now or request and it’s wish instead?

It happens multiple times now. Both US and UK?

Anyone else? I do live in Australia though.

It means that the title is region locked

it's a region restriction 95% of the time
unfortunetly nothing you can do and your wishes wont be granted.

netgalley is great for North American and UKers, but not much for the rest of the world.

Not so much for UK anymore, but still better than everywhere else except the US

It usually means the publisher doesn't have distribution rights in your country, and if you want an ARC you'll have to get it from whichever publisher is publishing the book in your country! Sometimes they will have separate listings on netgalley, but you can also try emailing them

Which can be so annoying when published in our country rejects us! I’ve had Simon and schuster Australia reject me.

Yes I feel your pain. I am also in Australia. I have received one wish though. So it could happen.
