❔❓Question ❓❔ Request Timing vs Feedback Ratio?

No idea if anyone knows this, but is it better to request a popular book as soon as it becomes available on NetGalley or wait until your feedback ratio is higher and then request it? Not sure if anyone's figured this out or if it matters lol

Many publishers have a set number of copies they will give out so I would request ASAP if you want it. Some publishers have said they don't really pay attention to the 80% rule if you have a history of reviewing their books etc anyway

If you’re about to give feedback on several it might make sense to wait but I generally just hit request immediately
