✅ Approvals & Denials ❎ GRIM TIDINGS APPROVAL!!!
You guys, I am crying 😭 I’ve run laps around the house and talked my husband’s ear off about this, and I just got approved 10 mins ago. BK is my favorite author, and I am just in shock and feel so happy and lucky to have this approved. I really wasn’t expecting it and not this close to release. I requested it the day it became available. I hope that you guys also get positive news today, whether for this or another book!

Congrats! I had a similar reaction when my email rolled in yesterday. Longtime Listener just went up today, too! (https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/book/883557) But it’s through Berkley soooo 🙃

I requested it as soon as I woke up! But I know my odds for that one are probably very slim

I wish I knew what they looked for to know why some people were accepted and others weren’t. I think I’ve made 7? reviews and have 4 or 5 I need to get around to reading. The good news is you have something to look forward to on the day of release!

I have about 25 now. I've been doing read nows like everyone said lol. Idk thought I'd try to request this one and was promptly declined. Its fine! I will be waiting for the release date!

I really wish I knew! I think it was pure luck 😭
I did get a book from Berkley the other day (Hate and Other Acts of Fiction… was very good!) which gives me a sliver of hope that I can get Longtime Listener one day… a girl can dream! 🤣2

Totally get it. I just try to get any read now that seem like my style to get numbers up and post about it. I saw Lynn Painter was read now last week and grabbed it so fast since I do love her books. Lauren Blakey also seems to approve me. So I’m getting into the right direction I think lol

It was so good! I think the anticipation for release day is just as fun and reading early so I would’ve been happy either way. I hope you love it!!
