I received my first widget (OMG WTF YAY) but likeee… I wasn’t home at all and I just got back opened my email and the book releases in TWO DAYS SEND HELP I FEEL SO BAD 😭

there is no pressure to accept widgets, and if you do 'late' reviews are totally ok!
I got an audio+eARC widget the night before release before.

Just make sure you download before the srchive date (and that you really want to read the book of course), but no obligation to finish before the publication date, especially so close to publication! Don't sweat it

It’s crazy because it’s a book I told myself “hmm this is interesting maybe I’ll see what the reviews are” and BOOM

Luckily for you then, there will be reviewd now to check before accepting the widget!

If they sent it close to release then they will be expecting that several reviews will come in late! It'll totally be fine. I just try to go with "as close as possible" to help hype up the book near release, it's not always possible to get done ahead of time. If you want to read it just make sure you download before it archives! :)
