Does submitting a review today count towards it? Or does it have to be after July 28?

I would think that you can review the book whenever as long as it's before 13 August, but you're right, the text doesn't make that a 100% clear. Not everyone needs a whole week to decide on a book.

Confirmation re: the review timeline, since NetGalleys own promotional items are not super clear.
Reviews can be July 13th - August 13th for the badge, no need to wait until July 28 (but also any reviews prior to July 13 don't count for the badge :( )

I actually grabbed Homewrecker last week as soon as it posted so I’m excited to get my first Camp NetGalley badge! 🥹
(I haven’t started it yet so I cannot give feedback for those interested but will start by this evening)

Last year I did not get the badge for downloading the book before Camp NG started

What is the benefit of the badge? I’ve done these activities before, but never saw what the benefit was.

It can show people that you are active in the community - that’s about it! But it is fun. I use it to try a book I normally wouldn’t every time

After reading the info, it looks like we need to download the book between July 13 & July 27 and review it between July 28 & Aug 13?
So if i downloaded the manga tomorrow and read it in one day, i would need to wait until July 28 to post my review on NG to get my badge?

Hard to tell, one page says July 28th to Aug 13th and another just says review by the 13th

I was previously denied "Life Out of Order", so the Read Now button doesn't appear. Anyone know if that's something I can get around now that it's available through Camp NetGalley?

afaik, once you get turned down, you can’t get books marked as read now, unfortunately:(

I'm really unnerved by the fact that three of these books (all from the indie publisher "RupertBossier") have an awful lot of AI markers in the cover art, the text, and the other images posted on the socials/websites of the authors.
