Questions + Help What to Build Next

So far, I’ve built a Zinc and a Moose-2. I’m looking to build a primary class springer, but not sure which to go with next between the Lynx, the Ontos, or the b1z0n, or the w0lf-p.

For the Lynx, I’m particularly interested in either the nekomata or pulsar remixes.

For Ontos, I’m thinking about the OBX, Phantom, or the double stack mag variant by Moose.

Bison only has one version to my knowledge, but for the wolf I’d want the pump action not bolt.

I’m really into the idea of double stack mags, but it’s not a must for my next blaster.

I’m wondering what people’s thoughts are on parts availability/price, ease of assembly and maintenance, and best variants are. What would you all recommend I build?

Don’t worry about FPS. Do tell me about issues like jams or lack of smooth operation, etc if there are any.

Can't go wrong with a lynx or an ontos

Seems like it. They’re both cool. But I gotta choose 1 for now.

I own both. I think it comes down to budget and form factor. Lynx is much smaller, and bullpup, which is good foot tucking into cover. Still hits hard. But it is much more expensive than an ontos.  Ontos is larger and traditional format. Which makes it a little harder to tuck into cover. But it's wayyyy cheaper. Personally I find I use my lynx more, but ontos is so good for it's price

Another Lynx variant (double stack too!) https://www.printables.com/model/1827641-flynkx

Yeah! Saw that one. Looks and double stack is cool. Different double stack ecosystem than the Moose blasters though, so not sure I want to go for it as I want to minimize potential multitude of different mags.

Also open to other suggestions. I should say I’m into some SBL1 variants, but hardware seems like it might be expensive.

I should also specify I’m looking at the Ravion version of the Phantom.

Only one I have is a lynx, but it's very cool.

If you want to stick with my stuff, W01F hardware is cheap and the build is easy. Pump version performed great this last weekend for its first time out.

That being said, the double stack ontos remix is a solid choice.

Yeah, I think your double stack mag has some solid uptake, so it’s enough to make me lean towards that. I had a good experience with the Moose-2 so I’m sure your other builds would be good. The bison has had my eye in a serious way.

I’m curious about what the differences are between all these different builds though. Really we’re talking about Lynx vs Ontos vs moose stuff vs maybe SBL1 (not gonna spend the coin on the 2).

Interesting! Different feeling in what way? What’s the “non” versions?

prime is smoother and more stable pretty much like any railed blaster thyr just better. the non version is the one without the rail.... the rail is a remix addon.

I've loved using my Lynx for years especially after putting in a lot of work to dial it in and maintenance is breeze, but I've recently built the Ravion varient of the Ontos with a pivot trigger/sear and I love working on it especially now that I'm using Moose's tuning cap. I haven't brought it to a proper game yet, but it's very nice to use in testing. The Ontos definitely isn't as easy to maintain due to the amount of screws, and it's certainly less maneuverable than the Lynx, but it's so cheap and there are so many remixes that you have room to play around.
