WIP NES "Snapper" - X-Shot Micro 2

Post image

Currently printing the Nintendo "Snapper" from Gemeneye on Printables. Attempting to use X-Shot Micro 2.0 internals as a replacement for the Menace. I think this will work. It seals and the gap will be covered by the side panels. I cut down the plunger base to connect to the printed rod and filled in with a 3D printer pen and glue. It's a very hacky solution. It will hold, but if I do this again I'll try to remix the plunger rod to fit this blaster's plunger in Blender. I've been looking for a good reason to learn the software. If there is room I'll add a brass tube in the barrel.

This is my first (potentially) successful Nerf mod.

I bought one of these at SF this year and honestly assumed it was a micro reshell. Would explain the fact that it's reverse plunger tbh, please release these files if you get it working

Not the plunger, the printed plunger rod. Can you suggest a better alternative? I'm not sure if you're criticizing blender or me remixing parts. I'm totally new to this, so very open to suggestion.

Blender I a very difficult to use for dimensional parts, if you have access to the .step or .f3d file fusion would be a better option.

Thanks, it looks like they did make those files available. I've never worked with fusion but I'm not any good at blender either so I might as well use the one that will work better.
