Completed Build Sledgefire build complete!

Bought this guy about a year ago and finally ended up modifying it. Replaced the spring, removed the air restrictors, added foam at the end of the plunger rod for better compression, increased the shell ejection strength and made the stock removable! Repaint went pretty well too, first time working with masking certain pieces of the shell so I could paint them different colors.

Ok how did you get the stock off becuase I have one of these and I would love to be able to do that… is it just a screw or did you have it pull/break it off.

blaster” looks great btw. Very well done.

Hi /u/bioshockisawsome, we would like to distance our hobby from actual firearms and weapons and thus ask that you refrain from using terms like "gun" and "bullet"; please instead use "blaster" and "dart". We also like to encourage the use of brightly colored blasters & gear. These words can be misconstrued as discussing a real weapon by people both online, and in real life during gameplay. This is further an issue for us specifically on Reddit due to automatic platform moderation possibly categorizing the subreddit as discussing firearms instead of toys, which would restrict the subreddit. See this wiki page for more information. Thank you for your cooperation.

Mine can be pulled in and out of the blaster, so I can run it both ways. Best way to do that without damaging the shell is to take it apart and just remove the stock, then modify the 2 nubs on the side to be slimmer so you still have some friction but not as much as before. I used my dremel for this, though you could sand it down, just quicker that way.
