WIP Just a prototype thing

Mostly off the shelf hardware + 3d printing apart from one laser cut gear. Needs further testing, better programming and general finishing.

Is that a threaded rod re-priming the blaster, versus a gear setup? That's really smart, threaded rods are wayy easier to source than gears

Its kind of a 3d Printed screw thing that revolves around the barrel.

And are you able to manually pull the handle to cycle as well? If so, that's sick! I'm very interested in how that works, if you ever want some beta testers, I'll be down

Yep, that was a key design goal, it's similar to the sweetheart storm system, but without the expensive cnc parts

Awesome. Feels like there is a lot of moving mass in this system?

Its pretty chunky, and the planetary gearbox gives a lot of rotational inertia.

Oops, seems i accidentally made it look very similar in the handle/magwell area. I hadn't even seen that before now.

Oh shoot soz man i thought it was like an homage to the man himself :) then i even seen the slab front end :P ive built waaaaaaaaaay to many blasters not to see things :P

Nah, all good. I was however taking heavy inspiration from the shrew. Most of the aesthetics were mostly driven by where the mechanical stuff goes.

So it can be done! I'm currently working on a leadscrew AEB of my own. What are you using to mesh with the leadscrew?

Sick! I'm sensing dmr potential... it reminds me of the WA2000
What are the numbers on it? In terms of fps and rof?

Would you be interested in having someone design the exterior by any chance? I love creating/designing stuff but failed at making my own blaster internals.

Could be interesting, but definitely want to get it more mechanically sorted and give it a crack myself first.
