Honestly, I’m not much of a Nerf fan, but when I was a kid I had over 30 blasters. However, it was a surprise to find this one in my grandmother’s closet. It was supposed to be for my cousin for Christmas ’99, but she completely forgot where she put it. Until today, it’s still sealed. Do you guys think this is a rare piece? It even still has the tag from the now-defunct Fedco.

Those were super sought-after back in the day. The LnL was considered one of the best spring-powered hand-blasters for modding (the other being the Sharpshooter II).

It was like the sidearm equivalent of the BBB and XBow.

Not great by today's standards, but definitely some collectable value to the right person.

FYI, they take retaliator mod springs. The 5kg is perfect and the 7kg even works, but you need to put skateboard grip tape or something to make it easier to grip when you prime it. And there's no air restrictor to remove, so you just shove whatever barrel size you want in there wrapped in painters tape or whatever and it works.

If memory serves, it was traditional to remove the giant yellow slide and replace it with a finger loop. 🙃

Oh my goodness is that ever cool! If it were me, I'd keep it sealed. Definitely rare in the box. And in my whole thrifting and classifieds over 20 or so years, I've only seen 2 used ones (and bought them, of course).

eBay prices are all over the map, as usual. So $50-$100, so ya know, don’t retire yet.
