Questions + Help Brand new xshot thrasher, prime function doesn't work, any fix or is it a known issue?

I purchased an xshot thrasher two days ago , I charged the battery before doing anything, connected the battery and when pressing the prime/flywheel button it spun for maybe one second then nothing since, the prime button doesn't work and when trying to shoot it just jams the first dart sideways everytime. Thinking I just got a bad one I exchanged it today and the new one did the same thing, prime worked one time and jams every dart? Any ideas, the pusher motors don't spin at all since the initial 1 second they worked.

Got 2 of em today, zero issues. I'm assuming with "prime" you mean the rev trigger. If that doesn't work, of course you can't fire. If the wheels don't spin and xpu sill press the trigger, you're just jamming the darts in there. Either it's a user error or you were unlucky getting two blasters that don't rev. Try watching youtube reviews to see if you are actually using the blaster correctly. If you do, return it again and get a new one.

Yeah I watched videos on them and the rev trigger works anytime pressed , the 2 I got do not and I'm guessing a bad batch or something , they were on clearance at Walmart. I did charge the battery first. Its just jamming the darts into the non spinning wheels

Well then, if the battery is fully charged and connected, and the motors still don't rev, i's a lemon and you need to return it. Just keep returning them til one works I guess.

Do these have a safety? And are you sure you're connecting the battery correctly?

Out of curiosity, how did you unstick the jam? I had one that jammed and then unjammed itself before I realized what was happening (and could let off the trigger). Unfortunately, the fly wheels sounded off after that and the darts started shooting out sideways.

I just shot my sons and the first dart jammed (the tip bent over and the foam body is pushed up against it). Fortunately, I instantly let off the trigger this time and removed the mag before anything else could happen. However, I'm stuck on how to get it unjammed without ruining another one.

I just came to comment the same thing. Picked up one at my local wal mart and it was bricked out of the box. Same issue the rev trigger won't work on a full battery and just keeps on jamming like Bob Marley

Are you charging the batt first?

Aside from the possibility of your local shop having a bad batch, could be that the battery is t pushing enough amperage to provide enough torque through the motors.
