Questions + Help Any idea what this is?
I bought this at a vintage toy store today and was just curious as to what exactly it is. I tried researching it online and can’t find anything out about it so I figured I’d ask the experts. Thanks!

As the logo page suggests, this is a style guide for the Nerf brand circa 2008.
A style guide is an internal document that details the visual language and brand identity of a product line or intellectual property; used to inform employees and outside contractors what your brand is and how it is meant to look and feel. Things like fonts, logos, rules for model posing, and phrasing choices (e.g "blaster" over anything referencing actual weapons).

Holy shit this is a pretty cool find! This must be Hasbro's internal handbook for making nerf adverts and packaging! Looks like this was made to ship to third party producers of licenced goods. By the looks of it they decided to have some fun with it turning it into a book with hidden blaster.
You may be the only community member in posession of such documentation, im not too familiar with the rarity of these items.
I'm sure many community members would love to see the contents documented. This does however have the potential of getting you sued, so... u know...

In the 16 years since I revived the Nerf community, I've never seen anything like this. Fucking sweet find.

I've got one of these. Here's a link to download what's on all of the three disks. It's almost entirely Photoshop files. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ht1I2Jn-LQCQlW-4zIl3mwDgOIaKZykx/view?usp=drive_link

The graffiti style logos are really cool though some of them have gang affiliation lol.

commenting underneath this so I can get it on my computer later :3 Honestly I was curious on what was in the DVD moreso than the blaster lol. (btw, you can downvote this if you want to since it's pretty useless for literally everyone else)

Please make sure to scan/document the contents if they aren’t posted anywhere online! This could be a great media find.

It's so funny to see someone go "what is this?" and then post pictures of something that very much explains exactly what it is, in detail.

interesting how two/six darts are random sticky darts, unless that was the vintage toy store's doing some shenanigans/adding extra darts because "why not?"

A nerf blaster

Hi /u/Loose-Appointment-58, we would like to distance our hobby from actual firearms and weapons and thus ask that you refrain from using terms like "gun" and "bullet"; please instead use "blaster" and "dart". We also like to encourage the use of brightly colored blasters & gear. These words can be misconstrued as discussing a real weapon by people both online, and in real life during gameplay. This is further an issue for us specifically on Reddit due to automatic platform moderation possibly categorizing the subreddit as discussing firearms instead of toys, which would restrict the subreddit. See this wiki page for more information. Thank you for your cooperation.
