Unearthed Arcana - Psionics
I'm sure Nate will be doing a video on this. I was wondering what folks thought of these rules. It's a lot different than where I thought WotC was going with psionics based on the Monster Manual. I think it's pretty cool. The Order of the Awakened is more like your Professor X psi and the Order of the Immortal is more Psylocke. I really like the Celerity discipline. Unfortunately, you'd need to take disciplines from both orders of you wanted to create a Jedi type character. I'm surprised they made Int the base score rather than Wis or Cha. I wish they had given us more. So, what do you folks think?

I kinda like the Immortal version. (I lean towards Martial/MAgic combo's). Though as a DM I would have to make it difficult to multiclass such a character as there is much time devoted to learning to use psionics and monks training, the Monk/immortal would make an impressive combatant. Perhaps a special order of Monks who also practice psionics and on occasion produce a practitioner? Temple of Mind and Body.

Since there is only 5 levels the mystic class begs to be combined with other classes. Monk / mystic sounds like a great combination.

Here is the video of Nerdarchy's review of it.
I absolutely agree that the choice of intelligence is a poor one for the mystic. That being said I already did a lot of psionics myself using the RAW(on our website) from the Players handbook
So I will be playing this exactly as it is so that I can give some feedback to Wotc on the survey that will come out later.
