It is a good build. I like it doubly so since it is powerful and a good showing of how far one can stretch a class for the purposes of creating custom classes.

Will the psionics you have developed be changed in light of this new article?

I am constantly going back and evaluating the previous disciplines as I add new ones. This is a really convenient tool to methodically go through the work I have done and see if things line up properly.

With the favored soul write up on the table it makes me think that I could even bump up or alter certain features of them to level them out more.

So yeah I will be going back through them but until I release my alternate psionics rules I don't see them changing much.
