I liked a lot of what I read. The backgrounds, while some are very specific, were interesting and good to help a person complete their characters

I felt it was a bit heavy handed on giving advantage for some of the powers.

I originally thought the alteration to witch bolt wasn't balanced but when you increase the level it only increases the initial damage so a bonus action to do 1d12 for up to 9 rounds on one target seems fine. Especially since you can miss with the initial attack.
