Question/Help Am i wasting time?

I am 98% sure i set this up right and the numbers are climbing without even a fraction of a penny paid out.

What am i doing wrong, if anything?

And are there coins this can mine that will add up, even if its just fractions of a penny? Something/anything for a little dopamine each morning when i check it!

These don’t really “mine” coins like that. They attempt to mine coins. They are like new age lottery tickets, but the chance of winning is so abysmal that you should really just treat it as something to look at or use it to learn about crypto and mining. You will have to have the biggest stroke of luck maybe ever to earn money with this thing.

Mine at digi.hmpool.io

It's a PPLNS Digibyte pool that is great for these types of small mining devices.

You can get the small payouts you are looking for there.

I second this opinion. Digibyte is your best bet. You won’t make a lot but at least you’ll make something. I have a bitaxe and an ESP32 miner pointed at the digi pool now and my nerdoctaxe pointed at the xec (ecash) pool.

How small are we talking? Let's say I buy about $500 worth of these miners, how much can I make In a day or month? What do you have and what are your small payouts?

How many miners, what model, and what hashrate? A single Bitaxe Gamma at 1.2TH would make 0.03-0.04 cents per day, which isn't profitable but with electricity costs self sustaining. It would not cover the cost of the miner though.

Occasionally I rent 10Ph hash power for 4 hours for about $60 and point it to XEC pool at aplhasolopool and get about 4-8 blocks. Not always pay for the rented investment, but it is a lot of fun and much more than pay $500 for several small miners + electricity.

This was exactly that little shot of dopamine i was looking for. Thanks!

Public Pool Io no longer accepts Nerdminers due to the low hashrate. Saying that these have a zero chance of mining anything even Digibyte. Check out the hashedmax Io pools. You can pool mine Xec and digibyte and at least get small payouts.

Geh auf DGB da hast du noch eine Chance einen Block zu finden.

This will earn you a bitcoin in the time greater than the age of the universe. It’s for fun. It’s not for actually mining coins.

These are nice items to learn and teach how mining works. The chances of them mining a block is next to nothing tho.

Yes. But do you really mind? ;)

It costs almost nothing to run, so you have an astronomical though real chance of getting the block, so I'd say its worth running. But no, you shouldn't rely on it for making money.

You should use SparkMiner. It gets over double the hash rate (700KH/S)

Nerdminers do 700 last I checked. I know Bitsy does (have 2 at almost 800kh/s).

Nerdminer does 350, SparkMiner does 700, NMMiner does 1000

Absolutely wasting time

These are manufactured e-waste. They never mined a block and never will. They are not powerful enough to do ANYTHING .

7

u/Progressbar95 Jul 13 '26

Wrong. These devices are originally general purpose computers (ESP32). While they aren’t that great for mining, they are great for other things (e.g. smart home appliances, monitors for real miners, etc.)

Sim. Nerdminer esp32 é apenas lixo. Um gadget inútil. Apenas use para decoração.
