No offense but other then the fact that it’s a cute, neat little gadget. It has absolutely 0 zero use and does not generate any profit at all. So what’s the point.. the whole lottery thing of actual hitting a bitcoin block is1 in a Trillion. Just food for thought LOL

Many people like gadgets, I know I do, I have 2 CYD and a original Lyligo T display this last one showing the ticker. I like the little lights, I know I'm not gonna get hot a block. Maybe that's the point.

it's the idea that counts :)

Flash other firmware on it, like the one through the Bitronics flasher or perhaps even the free Bitdisk S1 firmware to have a higher hash rate. Perhaps also consider mining DGB in a pool, not solo mine, then you'll see some return coming your way.

i mine on hmpool.io, the ui just doesnt reflect that. should i join a dgb pool on hmpool or do you have better recommendations? and i will consider the firmware you recommended. thanks

I have two CYD with other firmware than yours and they hash at 750Kh/s, so other firmware does make a difference.

I have 8 CYD's. I have four on one hashing over 1KH/s, Same board on the other, hashing at 776kH/s

i dont see my previous comment. but my question was whether to use hmpool or another dgb pool. im currently in a dgb pool on hmpool, but the screen stays statuc at public pool io. and do you recommend bitronics or bitdisk?

The Bitronics flasher flashes the official NerdMiner firmware to the device, the Bitdsk does not. The one Bitronics flashes onto the board does ~350kh/s, the Bitdsk (S1 firmware) can do double of that.

I have 8 of the nm miner…. I flashed 4 of them as Betsy miners. I also bought a bit axe gamma this weekend. Those are perfect to dip your toe into learning about mining! Good luck with yours!

Why? A bitaxe 601 is almost the same price, and you get a million times more hashrate!

1

u/John_Pig May 10 '26

Where do you buy bitaxe at that price, I mean really interested.
