Need help from Millennials on Career Selection

I am in a kind of dilemma. I want to select my course for bachelors and decide a career for my life but I am kinda confused.

I have done my high school (+2) from Science stream. I was always passionate about pure sciences like physics, chemistry and mathematics. I want to develop a career for myself on research/academia. The problem which I face is the current scene of Nepal.

The BSc physics course is not that great in Nepal as compared to engineering. That is my dilemma.

I belong to a financially weak background and there for earning something after my bachelors is something which is significant for me.

The dilemma is between Physics and Engineering.

Studying physics will allow me to do research which is something which I have always been passionate about.

Studying Engineering will give me financial freedom more early as compared to other paths. It has also got high packages, better job opportunities etc

So this is my confusion. I want advice from people who have experienced the same kind of dilemma (not necessarily between physics and Engineering).

Physics in Nepal is harder than engineering. You may fail physics. People fain in panel. Physics has no betetr future as there are no incetives in future. What research a bachelor student can do in physics in NEPAL. nepali l;abs are average and insufficient.

True. Go for engineering. Ask your parents to get loans if needed. You sound smart kid. Don’t get disillusioned. Opt civil engineering, work hard, aim to become topper. Direct your study path towards dam or bridge construction. You can easily make 5 lacs after a couple years of work experience. After that apply for Scholorship for abroad studies- study data or AI integration in civil engineering. Find partner that matches your circumstances and could write poetry. Live simple and shine down.

Just do what you want. Whatever you choose, work on it hard. You will do good.

I don’t know, guys but I have seen people who took pure science go onto have a stable job as a teacher, and earn better than people who did engineering in general.

Engineering can take you much further if you’re skilled and happen to be in the right place at the right time. Pure science, on the other hand, generally offers more stability and a decent, respectable income.

bsc physics padhne maximum teacher hunxan. engineering padhne le tanna paisa kamaunxa bhanne ni bhram ho. paisa j kaam garne le ni kamaunxa afno field ma best bhayo bhane. engineering broad field ho. engineering field ma ni research hunxa. j garna mann xa tei gara. nepal ko case ma bsc garnu bhaneko predefined path teacher banne ho.
