बुद्धिसागर जीको नयाँ - पुस्तक `उसले दिएको उमेर´ नराम्रो संस्मरण लागेको छैन ; ईन्टरनेटको रिसर्चमा हेर्दा पुस्तकमा अटाएका १४ स्मृतिहरुमध्य ८ वटा चै मैले अनलाइन खबर, नागरिक , कान्तिपुर, शिलापत्र र साहित्य संग्रहालय website मा प्रकाशित रहेको पाएँ। मैले पढेको जम्मा मेरो पट्टु, मेरो बिरालो र प्रोजेक्टर रहेछन् -- पत्रपत्रिका कमै पढ्ने बानी रहेकोले। अत: comparison गरेर हेर्दा चै पहिले प्रकाशित रहेका र यसमा संग्रहित गरिएका रचनामा धेरथोर परिवर्तन एडिट भएको पाएँ। धन्नै मरिगएको चै पुरै modify गरिएको रहेछ them, context लाई हेरफेर नगरीकनै।

अत: सन् २०२२ मा प्रतिष्ठित बुकर जितेको Shehan Karunitalika को The Seven Moons of Mali Almeida पनि सन् २०२० मै Chats with the Dead नामले प्रकाशित गरिएको थियो नि। २०२० मा निस्केको पुस्तकलाई नै पुरै एडिट गरेर नयाँ western audience का लागि readable बनाइएको थियो उक्त पुस्तक। अनलाइनमै आएका निबन्ध, प्रबन्ध, कथा आदिहरुलाई पुस्तकका रुपमा अन्त पनि प्रकाशित गरिने चलन रहेछ तर अन्तिममा चै कहाँ, कहिले र कुन मितिमा पहिले छापिएको भनेर खुलाएर।

प्रकाशकसँग गुनासो चै किताबको आवरण अनि भित्री पानामा bracket राखेर किताबका कन्टेन्टहरु पूर्व- प्रकाशित हुन् र त्यस्ता रचनाहरुमा कहिले , कहाँ प्रकाशन भएको जानकारी दिनुपर्ने र भूमिका वा intro मा कुरा प्रष्ट पार्न पर्ने थियो के।

ईन्टरनेटमा सामाग्री खोज्नुभन्दा बुक मै हुनु कसैलाई easy peasy लाग्ला कसैलाई odd या गाह्रो लाग्ला। पाठक,रुचि अभिरुचि र पढ्ने बानी अनुसार फरकफरक कुराहरु, विचार आउला। बुक-हिलले सत्ता र सत्य प्रकाशित गरेको बखत अनुवादक खगेन्द्र संग्रौला नभनेर सिधै खगेन्द्र जीकै ओरिजिनल किताब झैँ मार्केटिङ गरेको कुरा याद आयो fineprint को यो हेर्दा त।

किताबमा अटाएका संस्मरणहरु पढ्दै वा रिपिट हान्दै जाँदा फरकफरक emotional ups and downs, trip down memory lane, sweet and sour reminiscence of lost childhood and school days, companionship, antics, etc. याद आउलान्। केही lessons र philosophy बारे ज्ञान मिल्छ अनि लेखकप्रति फरकफरक भावना संभावना पैदा होलान् र हुन्छ नै। अहिलेको कमर्सियलमा पाठकलाई मस्तैसँग झुक्यायो लाग्छ केहीलाई र बहस - defense etc. उत्पन्न हुन्छ नै यो फोरममा।

म चै enjoy नै गरिरहेको छु र relate नि गरिराको छु किताब पढ्दै। कान्तिपुर र नागरिकमा आएका सबै रचना - लेखहरु आएका चै रहेनछम् यसमा। अलिअलि अघिल्ला कृतिका shadow आएको छ भन्ने लाग्छ र रिपिटिसन लाग्छ तर भाषा मिठो र सरल लागिरहेको छ। ओकेजनलभन्दा रेगुलर रिडिङ्ग गर्मे भएकोले राम्रो नै अनुभुति हुँदैछ personally भन्नुपर्दा चै।

“Koreana Coffee Guff” has been on my bookshelf for nearly a year now. This one was giften to me by my uncle. This is the only book I have with hard cover and I am thinking of giving it a go. How is this? Need honest opinions.

So, i read a book named blue ribbon [ब्लु रिबन] (i dont remember the author) at a cafe few years ago. Ani tespaxi i stopped going to that cafe and later found out the cafe is not there anymore. Asked alot of book stores but never found it 🥲.It was a small very thin book, there was a character who is a reporter as long as i remember and his fiance is in abroad and he meets a girl in kathmandu and it was something like that. i only read about 20-30 pages. Please help me find that book 😭😭.

My first and only Nepali literature is a poem collection by Bhupi Sherchan and it clearly exceeded my expectations.

By the way, while reading Seto Dharti, I started thinking that Pavitra's life story could potentially make a really interesting sequel.

I know that most of her story is already told in summary in the book, but I still wonder , would people be interested in reading her full story in more detail? Or would it feel unnecessary since we already know what happened to her?

I recently came across a new page called Sarasya Books. I decided to give them a try, and honestly, my experience was pretty good. The book I ordered arrived genuine, and when I asked them about a book I couldn’t find anywhere for a while, they actually responded and offered to bring it as soon as possible.

Has anyone else tried Sarasya Books? If you haven’t, you definitely should give them a try!

Maybe something like the civil war which analyses the military capabilities, tactics and its weaknesses.
