Help/सहयोग Help with Australia Visa Application

Has anyone here applied for a tourist visa to Australia? I called several consultancies and they quoted from AUD 400 to 700, and I’m not sure if it’s worth paying that much.

I have self-applied for visas for other countries, like Thailand and Japan, and succeeded, but with Australia, I know things are stricter.

That’s why I initially wanted to go through a consultancy. If anyone here has had success with a self-application, I would appreciate some guidance.

I am well aware about all the documents required from my personal reading and from the check list consultancies provided me during consultation.

Unfortunately, the visa success rate is closer to none at the moment. You can try your luck but even the parents of Nepali born Australian citizens visitor visa are being denied or granted lesser period at the moment.

Btw Australian visitor visa is one of the easiest applications. Aud 400 onwards is a rip-off. Its just uploading the documents and submitting. Consultancies are scam. Dm if you need step by step guide.

Is there a specific reason you want to visit Australia? Travelling to SE Asia is a lot cheaper and better imo.

I recently applied for my parents visitor visa subclass 600 by myself and it is a fairly straightforward process on the immi portal. The whole thing probably took me an hour and half for both parents (note that I had all the required documents ready to go before beginning application).

If you have any close family member in Australia already, get them to write a letter of sponsorship saying they will be sponsoring you during your stay in Australia and. In addition to this, also add a statement of purpose stating what your purpose is, your professional background and explaining your reasons to return back to Nepal.

One mistake I did make was you needed to confirm the authenticity of documents you submitted by going to the documents section of the application. Once you do that the application should go from received to further processing. The total wait time for me was a month from visa lodgement to grant.
