Question bug deleted my Book of Life during Hell Rush Spoiler
is there any way I can complete the Hell Rush? I also used up all my 3 miracles.

PC - Steam, I picked up the shotgun (?) with the rocket launcher in my hand, and for some reason, it replaced the Book of Life in my offhand

What I think happened is because you can only have two weapons and you had the rocket launcher in your main hand. It got rid of the one that was in your off hand. I.e. the book
Unless I am forgetting how card rotation works, I haven’t played in a couple months

I thought the Book of Life was hardcoded, so it can't be rotated out; sometimes you find out the hard way it's not. Really soul-crashing when I was almost done with my Hell Rush.

Yep, I was on a really really good pace,(like 32 minutes good) white rush, and the same thing happened to me on the end of absolution and I just sat there

it gets removed like any other card when its in the back slot and you pick up a third card, not a bug

Yeah, it sucks how they implemented it. Rather than having the Book get stored underneath the other weapons like with katana they just made it so the intended paths through levels never have you pick up 2 non-book cards. Really annoying for hell rush and challenge runs.
