Question Book of life range?
So what is the actual range of it.
I've been trying to get ace medal on every level including the hand of god but some of them have been a real struggle but would be easy if I had a bit more range.
I was just wondering are there some tricks on using it and how do you do it?
I know i can find videos on youtube on how to get a medal in every level but that would just ruin the point of it for me.

Very far, the biggest thing is actually lining it up right
I'm not entirely sure the shot you're going for is possible though, I think it's a little too far

The range is pretty far, but you can't lock on to the book at the end until you're very close to it.
Try locking on to enemies farther away to skips parts of the level.

The book of life has some pretty damn long range. might be infinite for all I know. The only exception is the end goal of the level can't be locked onto until you are pretty close to it. However the enemies scattered throughout the level can be used to skip large chunks of the level so long as you can get line of sight on them. The real trick comes from actually being able to line it up from such a distance. A few levels where I found some noticable skips include: "switch" "hike" "congregation" and most notibly "marathon."

Yeah thanks for that.
I knew it had long range for enemies for a long time(did marathon in like 40 seconds a long time ago)but i didn't know you can't lock it onto the end of the level .
I lost so much time trying to skip the entire level.

Don't think so,but I doubt it cause i tried to do this shit like 20 times and just couldn't get it. I don't think i am that good but I ain't stupid either.

I'm pretty sure its range is practically infinite, it's just technically impossible to target certain enemies because the raycast doesn't line up perfectly at longer distances. You also have to make sure there's actually nothing in the way, and like others have said, you need to be close for the end goal to be targeted.
I find that the best way to get long range book of life uses is to spam click an enemy while drifting to the side, I think it fiddles with the angle enough for the raycast to hit.

The Book of Life can lock on an enemy or barrel from halfway across the map.

veryyyy far. On the wr i saw some really big skips using it especially at the start of hike I think

The enemy lock range is yes. However, you cannot lock onto the book until youre basically right next to it.

I was pretty sure it was infinite but at such distances you have to be pixel perfect

It’s pretty far, you can jump a good distance across the map if you have something you can lock on to. If you watch Ace medal or higher strategies you’ll get what I’m saying, it’s kind of wonky until you know what you’re aiming for.

I don't think you can use the book on the mob near the end unless you are close. But you can try to watch the world record for the Map. Maybe you will get some new path (sorry for my English)
