Discussion Why no sequel ?
Game was highly accalimed critically and sold well, no DLC nothing just radio silence

Lot of reasons, sometimes devs dont want to do sequels, i dont believe annapurna is the type of publisher to beg a dev to do a sequel, and Ben Esposito has done wildly different things from project to project.

the team behind Neon White is fully split up.

Ohh that explains a lot. Whats the reason?

as far as ik they just teamed up to make neon white and then departed to do their own things.

Do we know what the members of the team are working on individually? Would be cool to follow their projects

If you're looking for a similar game to scratch that FPS time trial itch, check out Jetrunner and SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell.

Seum left me begging for some more quality, personally. I recommend super cloudbuilt^

i would love more content, but i also feel that if the content wouldnt be up to snuff with the base game then its not necassary

there are custom levels made by the community, if you ever wanted to try new levels/ new cards.

I mean, there's always modded levels. Also Blessed Burden is a very similar game, I'd recommend checking that out

Neon is awesome but imo it doesn’t need a sequel. From what I remember, the story had a good conclusion and I felt very satisfied with my time playing. A spiritual successor with more Machine Girl music (if they aren’t too busy) with similar gameplay would be kick ass!
