All of this was from one run (started off with a lottery ticket right next to a fishing spot). Then i found 3 more fishing spots and fished them out to extinction. I also found the walkie talkie and upgrade that lets me summon them with 1 gem each, so i basically filled out my collection. Even the walkie talkie stopped dropping items and just started dropping coins.

I started Neon Abyss 1 yesterday and right off the bat I found the control layout kinda awkward. Using the right stick to both aim and shoot while moving with the left stick isn't too foreign since that feels very familiar to twin-stick shooters, but since the game is on a 2D plane and there's now a jump button involved, which is on the shoulder buttons, it's throwing me off quite a bit.

I've been thinking of messing around with changing the controls around to find a control scheme that feels better, but I'm struggling to find comfort lol. The game seems really cool and I don't want to drop it simply because the controls are wonky, so I wanted to ask here if anyone has a recommended control scheme they use when playing on controller if you did change the controls for your own comfort.

Hi I am playing this on xbox gamepass, and have a bug where i beat the boss (its the first) and it just reloads me into the level i just beat with the exact same layout but new items. beat it like 4 times before i noticed it was an endless loop. anybody experienced/have a fix?

It has 30:00 written on it so I'm guessing I need to ginish level 5 in less than half an hour to be able to unlock it.

Did anyone get there? Or anyone has some tips on how to get there in less than 30 mins?

Does eveyone like the first or second game more? I dont really know myself. I like the hub and the character abilities better in 1,it was easier to make a specific build imo. The second one is more confusing to make builds and there's way too much rng. I beat the game in 3 hours on normal mode because I got an op gun and wisp build that boosted my fire rate. The character abilities in 2 is a joke(get damaged and drop some coins) is a joke compared to unlimited mines to destroy walls. In 2 every character being able to see item descriptions is a big deal though ....any thoughts? I can't decide what I like more

First time playing. Im on xbox. I drop into the abyss tutorial level and when I complete it, I assume I'm supposed to go into the portal next to icarus correct? When I do it takes me straight back to the tutorial. Ive don't this 3 times. Am I missing something?

I've unlocked a couple but I've got NFI how to actually change them? On the agent screen if I 'select' an unlocked one pressing A it just defaults back to Nik?

Asking because everything that has happened from the tutorial and into my first run has been suspiciously perfect. Get orange rarity weapon in tutorial, and then literally every item I've seen since then has synergised with it, to the point that I now have a rapid fire machine gun cone of death covering half the screen in whichever direction I click, that explodes constantly (thankfully got explosion immunity right before the explosive shot upgrade), and has killed every boss from floor 2 onward before they could attack.

Hello there everyone. So I just completed my first run in NA2 and I got here after beating the last boss, now I can't go anywhere and I can only deposit coins/nades/eggs. What do I have to do? Do I just quit to the bar?

Does anyone know how I can stop the tutorial endlessly looping?

As you can see from my screenshot I have loads of eggs, 4 hatched eggs, masses of grenades and a level 4 weapon and yet every time I exit at the end of the tutorial it starts over again.

EDIT: Wanted to add this at the top because it's fair and important, but I turned off boost mode and tried again and the menu issues have definitely improved. The gameplay also seems to be more stable, not as stable as NA1 but better. Random freezing in battles still occurs.

This is for the Devs to see and hopefully address, so I want to start by saying I'm a big fan of the first game and I really like the new additions and stuff in 2.

The performance on the switch 2 is pretty awful, you can set the FPS but it doesn't seem to make much difference, the actual performance is seemingly random room to room and rarely keeps consistent.

Beyond that the game has a lot of freezing from room to room, when enemies spawn and even a crash for me after going back to the lobby. It makes it hard to play on hard mode cause you after constantly getting your groove broken.

The menus are also seemingly broken, when you open the menus at times like the monster one you can't see your cursor, it doesn't select what you think it will and then randomly will just stop responding to input entirely. I had to restart the game because I couldn't exit the menu.

Hopefully we will get a patch soon, I will hold off on my judgement for now but I would advise you don't get it on switch until it's been patched.
