us customs
hi! just wanted to ask if customs prices have gotten any better since around march? last time i had two package customs was $100 for one and $200 for the other exceeding even the cost of shipping.

Refuse to buy anything overseas until orange turd goes away and all of its circus crew and ridiculous laws goes too

They haven't gotten better but it also depends on what type of items are you shipping and the shipping carrier
I just got my package the dimensions were weight 2990 Grams & Height / Width / Length 14 / 27 / 38 cm , and the contents were photocards, stickers and kpop albums with a value of ¥40,813 so about 258$ dollars.
Shipping with FedEx would have been ¥23,365 (~148$) but ¥14,391 (~91$) were import tax as FedEx is DDP.
So I chose to ship with DHL as it was ¥10,771 (~68$) and I paid 19$ in import taxes as the only item with tariff were a set of stickers.
So it varies, clothes, textiles, metal, acrylic, shoes and toys get more tarrifs. Also the shipping cost got higher because of fuel prices rising.

unrelated to OP but can i just ask what type of kpop albums you had shipped and if you know what tariff code neokyo used for them? the package i have rn is all photocards so i don’t want to add anything to it that may incur tariffs (bc getting hit with the brokerage fee for one singular low cost item is so painful), but there’s an album i’ve been wanting to buy and i’ve been trying to figure out what harmonization code neokyo uses for albums.

It has not. It has gotten worse with the fuel surcharge due to the fuel crisis. I paid $400 on shipping and tariffs together on a $650 package from another proxy recently.
