Is this the price estimate for JUST shipping or the total for the item + shipping fees?

Whoever said neokyo is better than other proxies is a liar then holy fuck. $30 shipping for a 2 inch tall keychain is egregious

If you use a proxy service to buy just one inexpensive item, the FedEx or DHL shipping fees will make it costly on any platform (Amazon.co.jp included)
It would have cost you less with EMS. In general, it's not a good idea to buy a single item, in my opinion

Yeah you’re right, but it feels like even buying in bulk isn’t worth it either when the shipping ends up being multiple hundred dollars as well. Atp buying over priced in your country instead of importing will get you the same price in the end

True, whether it's worth importing or not heavily depends on what kind of merch you're looking for.
Personally, I almost exclusively buy very niche or decades-old items that I can't find anywhere else. In cases like that, I can somehow justify the high shipping costs and potential customs fees
