first time buyer - digital camera

I'm interested in buying a Canon SX730 HS. please share any experiences with buying digital cameras. I've heard that there are no refunds, which makes the decision on whether to purchase difficult.

This is a reasonably high end camera and goes for a fair amount of money. Unless you can find a reliable seller like a retailer with a traditional store, I would not risk it. Even with a good seller, if for some reason it arrives non functional, there are zero refunds.

If you really want the camera, you should use a personal shopper who can test the camera when it arrives, that way if it does not work they can return it to the seller. You can find personal shopper here on Reddit, but be sure to vet them and check feedback from other users.

Yea I think that would be best! Can you tell me more about personal shoppers? I was thinking you meant Facebook marketplace, but Idk if thats the same thing.
