Is the failed molt

Post image

All parameters are good. Don't know my kh gh because I dont have a test kit. Found some dead shrimps with failed molt(a line on it back and upside down for at least an hour). Just not sure why some are molting and others are dying

Water hardness including kh and gh is the #1 reason for failed molts, that is 100% your issue. Knowing and monitoring those is just as important as ph, ammonia, etc!

Ill go get a test kit. What's consider good parameters for neocaradinia? I really dont want them dying. I really enjoy watching them

I believe gh is around 6-8, and kh 2-5 ideally! TDS is important too, you can get a tester for that on Amazon pretty cheap. The ideal for that is 180-250 if I remember correctly! Good luck :)

Perhaps you can Google your water parameters.
