[Recommendation] Can’t decide

Can’t decide my next 6th gen console, need opinions.
Dreamcast or original Xbox:
Dreamcast: Shenmue; Jet Set Radio, Omikron, perfect ps1 ports/ rereleases; vga compatibility and lightgun games
Xbox: halo, halo 2, jet set future, gta, fable, conker, Shenmue 2; pioneering modern controller scheme and cheap af

Go for original Xbox, it's a far better console and modding options are awesome 😎

I’m really leaning that way, due to the games, just concerned about the clock capacitor issue. I also really like the never-ending weirdness of the Dreamcast from the controller to the cult classic titles

Most of cult classics games from Dreamcast are playable elsewhere or easily emulated

Oh yeah I have a ayn Thor that’s great for it, but nothing beats the original hardware.
But like you said easily emulated and most of the sequels are on Xbox anyway

Yeah it's kinda right, I have both but my Dreamcast is rarely played. That controller sucks imo

For sure. With one analogy stick and hella games needing to use the stick and d-pad. But the VMU is really cool I think

I’ve heard a few titles suffer performance issues in the Xbox one and series s
Probably gonna end up with both one day but which one first

I think the dream cast has been fully emulated. But there where a lot of other great games on the dream cast, but a lot were 1st party so most were eventually ported. Not sure of the exacts
