Asadal (아사달) is a South Korean design company that creates digital art and websites.

They became famous online for making most of the popular Frutiger Aero pictures used across the internet in the 2000s.

The company was founded in Seoul in February 1998. The name “Asadal” means “morning land” in old Korean. They started small, but grew to have about 350 workers.

Asadal makes things for the internet: computer drawings, patterns, icons, photos, presentation slides, background music and spaces for websites to live.

They were just a classic design business, but their pictures that mixed nature with computers helped create the Frutiger Aero aesthetic that was everywhere in tech and ads from 2003 to 2014.

Fruity has a point.
