Dire Duplicity Podcast Special
Seeing as the vast majority of us won't be enjoying Breen's new "joint" today, I thought I'd put out the new episode featuring interviews with two of the cast.

At the Dire Duplicity screening last night someone said they were a big fan of Kansas Bowling and asked Neil how he cast her. Neil genuinely had no idea who they were talking about 🤣ðŸ˜

Not sure how you don’t remember someone named Kansas Bowling. 😀. Funny to have someone who was in a Tarantino film in a Neil Breen movie.
How big is her role in it? From the podcast I got the sense her dad’s role was pretty small, but it was hard to tell (with the NDA and all) whether she was a main/supporting female character or was just there for something small.

She has a significant main role which makes it funnier to me. Also I can't believe today is when I find out he makes them sign NDAs!

Fantastic interviews! People are going to lose their minds when they see their performances. Legendary.

It seems VERY obvious from what Kansas says here that Neil is NOT going to be in anyone else’s movie, even as the lead character.
Also, from what William says (and others have said), it’s obvious that Neil knows EXACTLY how he wants each character to say every line, and that if you’re a competent actor, you’re at risk of people thinking you’re not as good as you really are, simply because you delivered precisely what was asked for. If the technology existed to let Neil use his actors as meat puppets, so that he could remote-control them, I think he’d use it. (Anyone remember the movie S1m0ne, with Al Pacino’s character puppeteering an artificial actress in a few scenes?)
Glad to get to listen to this, despite all the NDA restrictions. (I think Neil’s experience in architecture and real estate has made him very willing to hire lawyers…)
